Manifestation against summer abandon of children of separated parents
The national manifestation promoted by the pacifist movement Fathers' Armada ( www.armatadeipadri.it ) has just been concluded in front of the Juvenile Court of Rome to awaken public opinion, mass medias and magistrates to summer abandon of children of separated parents.
Dozens of activists together with real dogs, and blow up dogs and babies have been manifesting to protest against the indifference shown by all the Institutions towards the summer abandon of children of separated parents.
Thousands of children cannot spend holidays with their father as determined by the judge (20 days as a rule).
Many of them are not “taken” by their own father because of no interest and couldn't-care-less attitude.
The movement directs one's attention to bad mums and absent fathers that are denying children their right of holidays.
One of the side effect of such an abandon, as asserted by Giorgio Ceccarelli, founder of the movement, is the family violence.
In fact in this period of the year, both suicides and homicides in the families are subject to a significant rise.
The President of the Juvenile Court in Rome, Mrs Magda Brienza, received Mr Giorgio Ceccarelli and appreciated the awakening campaign addressed to both parents.
The President of the association Figli Negati appreciated the compliments but stressed again the necessity of a hard intervention towards the kidnapper parent who is almost always the custodial mother.
For the first time, in Italy, a mutual campaign has been done against the summer abandon of children and dogs in the hope of a 2007 summer holiday without its usual victims. Only a few days ago in Turin a separated father died, by hanging himself, because he was denied visiting his son.

Manifestation contre l'abandon en été des enfants de parents séparés
La manifestation nationale promue par le mouvement pacifiste Armée des Pères ( www.armatadeipadri.it ) devant le Tribunal des Mineurs à Rome s'est conclue depuis peu pour sensibiliser l'opinion publique, les mass médias et les magistrats quant à l'abandon en été des enfants de parents séparés.
Des dizaines d'activistes accompagnés de vrais et faux chiens ainsi que de poupons gonflables ont manifesté pour protester contre l'indifférence de toutes les Institutions face à l'abandon en été des enfants de parents séparés.
Des milliers d'enfants ne peuvent pas passer de vacances avec leur père comme le prévoit la sentence du juge (en général une vingtaine de jours).
Plusieurs d'entre eux ne sont pas « pris » par les pères respectifs par désintéressement et je-m'en-foutisme.
Le mouvement pointe du doigt les mamans méchantes et les pères absents qui privent les enfants de leur droit de vacances.
L'un des effets collatéraux de cet abandon, soutient le fondateur du mouvement, Giorgio Ceccarelli, est la violence domestique.
En effet durant cette période on constate une augmentation considérable des suicides et des homicides dans les familles.
Le Président du Tribunal des Mineurs de Rome, Mme Magda Brienza, a reçu Mr Ceccarelli et a apprécié la campagne de sensibilisation adressée aux deux parents.
Le Président de l'association Figli Negati, qui a apprécié les compliments, a cependant réitéré la nécessité d'intervenir avec dureté envers le géniteur ravisseur qui est presque toujours la mère tutrice.
Pour la première fois, en Italie, une campagne commune a été faite contre l'abandon en été des enfants et des chiens dans l'espoir que les vacances 2007 puissent se dérouler sans ces habituelles victimes. Il n'y a que peu de jours que s'est suicidé à Turin, en se pendant, un père séparé auquel le droit de visite à son fils était refusé.
